M-Powered: from Menstruation to Menopause A lot of information out there is based on studies done on men whilst this course is very specific and detailed around women's health. Mind you, this is not a generic cookie cutting cycle syncing course, in fact, we’ll debunk this idea with a more individualistic approach of how the same hormone might have a totally opposite effect on our mood, physiology and performance. We’ll dive into the mechanisms of why this might be so, how to recognise the signs and if there are any unwanted symptoms, what are the protocols to mitigate them. We’ll dive into the physiology of how our sex hormones influence not just our reproductive health (often manifesting as menstrual abnormalities), but they also might have more subtle consequences affecting everything from appetite, sleep, inflammation, muscle growth, bone density, fat and glucose metabolism, pain management and immune system, just to name a few. This workshop is for you if: - You want to have a basic understanding of how your sex hormones work both on a smaller scale within a single menstrual cycle but also of the changes happening during lifetime: from puberty to menopause. - You want to feel in control of your body such that "blaming" your hormones for how you feel is a thing of the past. - You’ve had enough of feeling overwhelmed or confused about your health and either feeling constantly fatigued, catching every cold, or feeling anxious or angry for no reason. - You’re ready to feel empowered of what womanhood means to you. - You are keen to get to know yourself on a deeper level.
